Secret Santa 2014

This year again, we are glad to host a secret santa. As we had met some troubles last year there is just one requirement we would like to put down. If you are unable to fulfill your secret santa at all, please send a note before the deadline so we can take it in charge in time. Now below there will be a list of participants. Day of our Lives

Duration: From 08-03-2014 - 09-17-2014
Location: Any of the AE chatrooms

As the most diverse cultural hotspot and since there aren’t enough days in the year the inhabitants of Novus’olum celebrate a day of diversity once every year. This day everyone who participates celebrates one cultural aspect from their homeworld, or from the world of a friend. Those that are more dangerous have to be cleared by the authorities but are generally allowed to pass with supervision. From food and clothing style to dancing and sometimes even organized fighting, the Day of Our Lives Festival is never the same each year.

How to Join:

1. Draw your character (you can team up with a friend) doing something, anything that is culturally prominent from their home world or their mate's home world. It can be wearing something peculiar, dancing, cooking special meals, games, etc.

Or

2. Give us, in the comments, a tradition with a short explanation. 3 will be chosen as the main themes for this year's Day of Our Lives festival. It will be picked on the 10th of August and used later on in the chat event.

Silvefied has the priviledge to host the event on Saturday 6th September. Her tradition has been chosen within the members.
The two other main themes for this years are also:
- The Scottish Games (you can refer to Brave to have an idea) - Refer to Huina for more informations
- Healing goddess Statue Carvings or Riverdancing - Refer to Reixix for more informations.

Fairy Willy Wheel Race

Welcome everyone to the annual Fairy Willy Wheel Race!
This year again the worldwide known Interworld race will take place in Novus'Olum's capital.

The championship will be disputed under 3 difficulties each one leading to a trophy and the possibility to relocate the Interworld Race now mostly well known as fairy willy wheel race.


Each first will receive a fancy trophy. The world that wins the most trophee will get the chance to host next year’s Fairy Willy Wheel Race!

Rules:


You are maybe frightened about not winning the race but may not! This year we will welcome for the first time the fashion-ish Trophy. Be and have the most fashionable attire on the race to win.

This year we will also see the last trial about Fairy Willy Wheel great champion's title and the possibilities he may have fooled us all along. Clues are being gathered from the past 30 years of race willy wheel won in a row. A photography from his 17th year of winning has been brought up for you. Fairy willy wheel never lost a race or maybe he should have! We are to discover the truth today!


The event consist of a race either draw your oc getting ready for the race or fancy to show off. A chat event will be organized with some game planning behind to make it work like a dungeons and dragons session. For best organization and timing, we will require you to fill in a new form (we are testing their efficiency currently) with the day(s) you could be on and time shift and preferred attended race, you may take part in all of them but make sure you can stay as long.

The mystery of the most famous Fairy Willy Wheel is a murder mystery game like Clues. We will leave clues around up to you to find them. Each time a clue is released you will be notified. To fill in your assumptions and proof you found the clue, you will have to fill in a new form each time. Dates are recovered as much in case of a draw situation.

Clues will be put about everywhere in the group. It will also includes the Grand Library files or images coming starting today

AE Trivia!

Duration:
Section 1: January 10th - February 15th

Any of the AE chatrooms

Hey there! 8D
In order to spark a little more activity in the chatrooms and to encourage people to learn more about AE we’re going to be holding a chatroom trivia event, with prizes, for a whole month!

How it works:
Whenever the chatroom is active, meaning people are already talking about something, could be anything at all, any moderator can randomly throw out a trivia question for the people in chat to answer. This can be as simple as “What’s the most prominent color on the group front page?” to something more complex.

They can give you some sort of task, such as “Draw your character’s response to ______ in 15 minutes”

Points will be awarded to the members who answer the questions or complete the tasks, and at the end of the month the member with the most points will win a prize.

BD They will be limited to things that are part of official information though, so no worries about stalking people’s private RPs. XD

Gentlemen, the delights of our eyes, imagine that you are that man. The woman before you slides her hand into yours, and maybe you can’t see it yet but she’s perfect. You spin her around before bringing her close, just to get a good look and admire this gem in the fading sun.

Dress Code: Formal Attire
This is a formal dance, so wear your best. In addition we’ve also added a little color coded rose system to allow for people to know who’s available to pick up a date, or who’s already taken.
In addition to your chosen outfits, wear a:
Red Rose if you already have a sweetheart currently promised to you.
Yellow or Pink Rose if yours is a complicated story and you’re more there just for a night of fun.
White Rose if yours is a canvas just waiting for another to come and paint their colors on.

Optional Art Event: Draw your character in their formal attire for the dance, and/or draw them with their date showing off some sexy moves on the IWR’s glass floors of the sky. No due date, but it might be nice to have a reference to look at before the RP.
